COWMATE's Tail Sensor Successfully Signed | XJTU and NWAFU Jointly Build Smart Agricultural Equipment Research Institute

Major Release, Project Successfully Signed

On April 3, 2025, the Smart Agricultural Equipment Research Institute jointly established by Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) and Northwest A&F University (NWAFU) was officially inaugurated at Shaanxi Fruit Cloud Valley in Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province. Leaders attending the ceremony included Lu Jianjun, Party Secretary of XJTU; Huang Siguang, Party Secretary of NWAFU; the Director of Shaanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology; and representatives from Xianyang Municipal Government and Yangling Demonstration Zone Party Working Committee, among other related leaders.

Zhang Yalong of COWMATE was invited as an enterprise representative and released the Intelligent Tail Sensor (Tail Sensor) on site. At the meeting, COWMATE officially signed the "Intelligent Tail Sensor (Tail Sensor)" project with the research institute, marking a major technological breakthrough in the field of intelligent agricultural equipment in China.

After the unveiling ceremony, attending guests visited the research institute's R&D center and equipment exhibition area, and participated in the first Smart Agricultural Equipment Development Seminar. Academician Zhao Chunjiang, Professor Zhu Aibin, and other experts delivered special reports on agricultural intelligence topics, with university-enterprise representatives engaging in in-depth exchanges on technology transformation and industrial applications.

This unveiling ceremony and new product launch not only demonstrated the powerful synergy of university-enterprise collaborative innovation but also opened a new chapter for the intelligent upgrade of China's agricultural equipment and the development of the smart agriculture economy.
